2025 San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival

The second weekend of April was all about the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival, where I exhibited as a member of the Ikebana Teachers Federation. My arrangement was created to complement a museum-quality vase by Okura Toen, a renowned Japanese pottery maker. I chose red anemone and dogwood to reflect the floral design on the vase.

Seeing many beautiful designs from other Ikebana schools was inspiring. We were busy interacting with 1,200 visitors each day.

Materials: red and white flowering dogwood, red anemone, white ranunculus, speria branches, oakleaf hydrangea branches
