Ueno Farm in Asahikawa, Hokkaido

I finally finished going through tons of footage that I shot last summer.  Ueno Farm really taught me what to plant for the harsh climate for all-year-around attractions.  It was indeed one of my happiest days for the last year. This botanical garden represents the natural beauty of Hokkaido.

English roses here are different from the ones in California

Etsuko Ueno (one of the farm owners) was kind enough to converse with me while Sayuki Ueno (the other farm owner and garden designer) sent me her photos when I asked for the video.  I felt warm welcome and love of flowers from the owners
