Early Bloomer Magnolia, Royal Star

“Royal Star” magnolia is an early bloomer with white, thin, double flowers appearing before the foliage emerges in spring. It is a much smaller flower and tree size than the traditional pink or purplish “saucer” magnolia. So, it is perfect for a small garden.  A downside of this delicate magnolia is that petals fall very quickly and make a mess on a table once it is a cut flower.
