Wishing for a peaceful year🌲

Materials: Curly Willow, Christmas Holly (Ilex aquifolium), Radiata Gum Eucalyptus, Redwood foliage, Pine, Pine cones

Curly willow is weaved into a 24-inch wire frame to shape the peace symbol ☮️

All other materials were foraged from a nearby open field. 

 

The wreath below was made during San Francisco Sogetsu Bay Area workshop in Alameda.  I like the grapevine frame because you do not have to hide the frame and arrange materials asymmetrically.  Much appreciated all the preparation by Sharon and Jane.  It was fun to see all the creative ideas by the participants🎄
