Artscapes 2023

I participated in ArtScapes 2023 in Golden Gate Park on September 23rd and 24th, a biennial floral arrangement show hosted by the Sogetsu San Francisco Bay Area branch. Over the course of two days, the event drew a crowd of 1,500 visitors, many of whom stumbled upon the event sign located next to the San Francisco Botanical Garden.

The old County Fair Building was transformed into a charming museum featuring over 70 floral arrangements. I exhibited two tabletop arrangements as well as volunteering as a photographer, docent, and front desk attendant. Perhaps the most backbreaking task was steam-ironing 60 tablecloths. It was all worthwhile, though.
