Bouquets to Art 2017 – making of Yoshiko Williams’ exhibit

It was great experience to assist Yoshiko Williams (my Ikebana teacher) for her exhibit at Bouquets to Art at de Young Museum in March.  She has been entering for many years, but this is my first time to help her.

Mina and Shirly glued PVC pipes and added glass balls as weight.  This is for the bottom structure.

Getting right measurement and leveling PVC pipes was not easy.

Mina zipties branches.

These are extra tall calla lilies.

Finished just right on time. Yoshiko ‘Hogetsu’ Williams is in the back.

The assigned location (2nd floor towards African Art collection) was spacious and drew good traffic.
