Merry Christmas 2023

Amaryllis is a popular Christmas flower, celebrated not only for its striking giant blooms as cut flowers but also as forced bulbs. I purchased these long stems at the San Francisco Flower Market. Although Amaryllis can have stripes or double petals, these classic single red and white varieties appeared to be the freshest at the market and lasted for two weeks.
