Railroad Journeys in Japan | Episode 16: Takehara, Seto Inland Sea

Takehara is located just an hour and a half away from Hiroshima Station via the JR Kure Line, and it offers easy access from Hiroshima Airport. The charming old town area is often referred as the “Little Kyoto of Aki” due to its picturesque historical architecture dating back to the Edo Era.  I did not get to capture much video footage due to another sweltering day, but I am glad that I visited there for a change from island hopping.
