Railroad Journeys in Japan | Episode 17: Shimanami Kaido Part 1, Seto Inland Sea
The Shimanami Kaido is a scenic route that links Japan’s main island to Shikoku, passing over six major islands in the Seto Inland Sea. This 70-kilometer road is well-known among cyclists, yet it also provides the opportunity to explore the broader regions of all the islands by car. Part 1 primarily focuses on Ikuchijima Island, which is one of the islands on the Hiroshima Prefecture side. It was nice that my brother was able to drive so that I could focus on shooting and my father could relax. I wanna try biking next time (if it is not too hot).
