Whimsical Wisteria Vines

I saved these twisted wisteria vines while pruning. Some look like treble clefs.  You know the music symbol?

Because I salvaged the vines, I justified myself to splurge on these peonies from Chile at San Francisco Flower Mart. There is a Japanese saying to describe a gorgeous woman; “She stands like a herbaceous peony (Shakuyaku), sits like a tree peony (Botan) and walks like a lily.” I think this beauty is “sitting.”
